In this context, a qualitative study was conducted, and a document analysis pattern was used in the research. The municipal logos used in the research were obtained from the official websites of the municipalities. Each municipal logo was then subjected to a detailed content analysis in alphabetical order. While analyzing the logos, the extent to which they reflected the physical and human geography characteristics of the district or province they represented was taken into consideration. Additionally, to increase the reliability of the analysis, the municipalities were contacted during the analysis of the logos, and information about the meanings of the logos was obtained from the relevant unit experts. Field studies were conducted to observe how well the logos corresponded to geographical conditions. The study found that a significant portion of the physical and human geography characteristics of Ordu Province were reflected in the municipal logos. A total of 20 municipal logos were analyzed, and 32 different types of figures were identified in these logos. When a general evaluation of the municipal logos of Ordu Province was made, it was observed that figures related to physical geography, particularly natural structures, were heavily used in the logos. It was also determined that the figures related to human geography used in the logos were mostly figures closely related to natural environments, such as agriculture. When planning a study on the renewal of the logos of the districts represented by the municipalities, it is essential to increase the number of human geography elements in the logos. Logo renewal studies should be carried out at specific intervals, and it is recommended that logos be renewed according to the development characteristics of the districts.}, number={ISRIS 2025}, publisher={Ordu Üniversitesi}
