AB  - Araştırma, çocuk ve çocukluk kavramının tarihsel süreç içerisinde değişimine ve aynı zamanda da çocuk merkezli tartışmalarda pek değinilmeyen çocuk göçü ve çocuk işçiliği konularına odaklanmaktadır. Araştırma kapsamında teorik tartışmalarda değinilen bu hususlar aynı zamanda Çocukların Treni filmi üzerinden de bir analize tabi tutulmaktadır. Film, Viola Ardone’nin Çocukların Treni kitabından esinlenerek çekilmiştir. II. Dünya Savaşının bitiminde İtalya’nın Napoli şehrindeki çocukların durumu ve Napoli’den Modena’ya çocukların yaptıkları zorunlu göç filmin temel konusunu oluşturmaktadır. Bu anlamıyla da çalışma nitel bir yöntem benimsenerek oluşturulmuştur. Doküman olarak seçilen film, çalışmanın veri setini oluşturmaktadır. İçerik analizi tekniğiyle filmin analizi gerçekleştirilmiş ve buradan da teorik tartışmalarla uyumlu temalara ulaşılmıştır. Gündelik hayat içerisinde çocuğun konumu, kıyafetleri, çocukların beslenme durumları, çocuk göçü ve işçiliği temaları çerçevesinde konu tartışmaya açılmıştır.

N2  - This study investigates the historical transformation of the concepts of child and childhood, while also addressing the relatively understudied issues of child migration and child labor within child-centered discourses. These topics, explored within the theoretical framework of the research, are further examined through an analysis of the film the Children’s Train, which is inspired by Viola Ardone’s novel of the same name. The film focuses on the situation of children in Naples, Italy, at the end of World War II, and their forced migration from Naples to Modena, constituting the central narrative of the cinematic work. Adopting a qualitative research design, the study employs the selected film as a documentary source forming the primary dataset. Through content analysis, thematically relevant findings were identified, which align with the theoretical discussions presented. The analysis engages with key themes such as the social positioning of the child in everyday life, clothing, nutritional conditions, child migration, and child labor, thereby contributing to broader debates on childhood within historical and socio-political contexts.
