KW - Değişim KW - Ruh sağlığı KW - Üniversite KW - Psikoloji N2 - Traditionally, universities have been defined as spaces where knowledge is produced, transmitted, and evaluated. However, the 21st century is marked by a transformative process that fundamentally challenges this definition. In particular, digitalization, artificial intelligence, machine learning, social change, economic uncertainties, and rapid cultural evolution necessitate a reassessment of the role and impact of universities on both individuals and society. From this perspective, understanding, interpreting, and evaluating the social dynamics within which universities operate—as well as individuals’ tendencies shaped by these dynamics—requires the analytical tools provided by the field of psychology. Psychology enables us to comprehend not only the mental processes of individuals but also the dynamics of institutions, learning environments, and collective behavior. Today, universities are expected to respond not only to the academic needs of students but also to their emotional, existential, and social well-being. CR - American College Health Association.
