KW - Erken çocukluk müzik eğitimi KW - EÇME KW - sinir ağı KW - beyin gelişimi KW - müzik ve beyin ilişkisi N2 - This study aims to systematically examine the effects of early childhood music education (ECME) on neural development in light of theoretical and empirical findings. Within the scope of the research, the relationship between music and the formation of neural networks, plasticity, cognitive functions, language acquisition, emotional regulation, and social development has been addressed. A literature review was conducted from an interdisciplinary perspective using qualitative research methods, specifically document analysis. The findings indicate that ECME triggers structural and functional changes in the prefrontal cortex, auditory cortex, and limbic system, thereby optimizing neurodevelopmental processes. Additionally, it has been determined that integrating music into early learning environments has long-term positive effects on academic skills, executive functions, and psychosocial adaptation. Based on these findings, the study offers recommendations for educational policies and curriculum design while proposing new directions for future neuroscientific research. CR - Altenmüller, E. O.
