AB  - Bu çalışma, yeni iletişim teknolojilerinin aile iletişimdeki rolü ve etkilerini incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Günümüzde giderek artan akıllı telefon, sosyal medya ve internet teknolojilerinin kullanımı, bir yandan aile bireyleri arasındaki iletişimi ve etkileşimi kolaylaştırırken, diğer yandan yüz yüze iletişimi azaltarak duygusal bağları zayıflatabilmektedir. Bu açıdan literatür, bu teknolojilerin aile içi iletişimde hem olumlu hem de olumsuz yönlerine odaklanmaktadır. Nitekim coğrafi uzaklıklar ve kriz dönemlerinde yeni iletişim teknolojilerinin aile içi iletişimi sürdürülebilir kılması onun olumlu özelliklerini temsil ederken artan ekran süreleri, dijital bağımlılık ve teknolojiye uyum gibi durumların aile içi iletişim açısından sorunlar yarattığı görülmektedir. İnternetin yaygınlaşması, sosyal medya ve diğer teknolojik araçlar aile içerisindeki yüz yüze iletişimi azaltırken diğer sorunlara da yol açmaktadır. Bu çalışmada gelişen teknolojinin aile iletişimine etkileri ile ilgili bir betimleme yapılmaktadır.

N2  - This study aims to examine the role and impact of new communication technologies on family communication. The growing use of smartphones, social media, and internet technologies in contemporary life facilitates interaction among family members, yet also reduces face-to-face contact, potentially weakening emotional bonds. The literature highlights both positive and negative aspects of these technologies. While overcoming geographic distances and sustaining communication during crises represent positive contributions, extended screen time, digital dependency, and adaptation challenges create communication problems within families. The widespread use of the internet, social media, and other digital tools may diminish direct interpersonal interaction and lead to additional issues. This study provides a descriptive analysis of how technological developments influence family communication.
