N2 - The aim of this study is to determine the levels of emotional intelligence, personal social responsibility, and ethical decision-making biases among university students, to examine the relationships between these variables, and to reveal the predictive power of emotional intelligence and personal social responsibility on ethical decision-making biases. The research was conducted using the relational survey model, one of the quantitative research methods. The study group consisted of 353 university students enrolled in various faculties during the 2024–2025 academic year. Data were collected using the Emotional Intelligence Scale, Personal Social Responsibility Scale, and Ethical Decision-Making Biases Scale. The findings indicated that students’ emotional intelligence and personal social responsibility were at moderate-to-high levels, while their ethical decision-making biases were at a moderate level. Correlation analyses revealed significant negative relationships between emotional intelligence, personal social responsibility, and ethical decision-making biases. Regression analyses showed that emotional intelligence and personal social responsibility together significantly predicted ethical decision-making biases. These results suggest that enhancing emotional and social competencies can improve individuals’ ability to make more objective, unbiased decisions in ethical reasoning. The findings highlight the need for higher education to address ethical awareness, emotional intelligence, and social responsibility training in an integrated manner. CR - Ahsan, M. J. (2023).
