N2  - By the late 1800’s the rise of exhibition of fi ne arts especially the mixedgroup exhibits became more visible in the Ottoman World. Accordingly artcritics on newspapers, comments on artists’ works and other discussionsabout the role and the responsibility of the state in order to support the artand also the artists prominently increased. This paper aims to point out thedevelopment process of the etiquette of organization of fi ne arts exhibitionin Ottomans and also to understand the role of local artists and local press.
