The most important component of health tourism, which has many dimensions, is “Medical Tourism”. Medical tourism journey, which has a large economic market worldwide, diversifies due to different patient expectations, demographic characteristics, cultural reasons and psycho-social factors. One of this diversity is the field of "Halal Medical Tourism", which has a niche feature in the market. The concept of halal is a theological concept that mostly coincides with people’s religious values. At the same time, this concept is a concept that has the sanctioning power that applies to every aspect of the lives of people belonging to a religion. For this reason, people also want to use service provision and health product in accordance with Islamic conditions when requesting health services. This situation pushes people to seek halal health services.
