AB  - 1969 baharında, Yalova ve Bursa bahçelerinde sırasıyla -0,2℃ ve -1,8℃ gibi düşük sıcaklıklar elma çiçeklerinin pistillerini öldürmüştü. Bu nedenle, çiçeklenme normal görünse de çiçekler solgunlaşıp dökülmüştü. Şiddetli yağışlar ayrıca, drenajı yetersiz bazı bahçelerde felçlere neden olmuştu.

N2  - In the spring of 1969 pistiles of apple flowers were killed by the low temperatures of -0.2℃ and -1.8℃ in Yalova and Bursa orchards respectively. So, the flowers became pale and dropped down even though blooming appeared to be normal. Heavy rains also caused apoplexies in some poorly drained orchards.
