It analyzes how the region’s book culture has been shaped by religious, national, and ethnic influences, as well as the role of state and national library policies, and the impact of digitalization and technological innovations. The study pays particular attention to publications for children and youth, religious literature, the contributions of women authors, and the role of gender. Additionally, it discusses the expansion of book culture through book festivals, exhibitions, and reader communities, as well as its economic and cultural effects. The article also evaluates the global position of the region’s book culture and its prospects for future development. The research demonstrates that the book culture of Southeast Asian countries represents a synthesis of historical richness and contemporary technological innovation, playing a significant role both nationally and internationally. Ayrıca, kitap festivalleri, sergiler ve okur toplulukları aracılığıyla kitap kültürünün genişlemesi ile bu sürecin ekonomik ve kültürel etkileri tartışılmaktadır. Makalede, bölgenin kitap kültürünün küresel konumu ve gelecekteki gelişme perspektifleri de değerlendirilmektedir.
