N2  - An ethnobotanical study, carried in El Ouatia city, allowed to tally 131 medicinal species used to treat a number of diseases: the digestive system (123 species), the diabetes (17 species), the respiratory system (11 species), the skin problems (9 species), the jaundice (9 species), the cancer (7 species), the urinary system (7 species), the genital system (4 species) and the skeletal system (4 species). The majority of the traditional medians used in this region are in the form of a powder prepared from the leaves and the subterranean parts of the medicinal plants
