The condition was preceded by diarrhea , flu-like infection, abdominal pain and gastric tenderness; eventually, autonomic manifestation with episodes of visual hallucinations and disordered speech was added. Relation with Campylobacter jejuni infection, Lyme disease and porphyria are debated in differential diagnosis.
