AB  - Pareidolia, bir görüntünün bilinen başka bir forma benzetilerek yeni bir görüntü biçiminde algılanması fenomenidir.Bilinçdışında var olan imgelerin başka imgeler üzerine yansıtıldığı bir işleyişe sahiptir. Pareidolia, psikanaliz alanındaaydınlatıcı sonuçlar veren bir teste ilham kaynağı olmanın yanı sıra, sanat üretiminde de kullanılan bir yöntemolmuştur. Araştırma kapsamında pareidolia deneyiminin görsel sanatlar alanında üretime etkisi XIV. yüzyıldanitibaren bulgulanmıştır. Ulaşılan örnekler bağlamında bu deneyiminin sanatçılar tarafından yeni bir gerçekliğinkurgulanmasında oynadığı rol incelenmiştir. Tarihsel nizamda ele alınan örneklerin iki sınıfta değerlendirilebileceğigörülmüştür. Biri sanatçının deneyimlediği ve deneyimini izleyenle paylaştığı pareidolia ve diğeri sanatçınınkurgulayarak izleyene sunduğu pareidoliadır. İlk grupta sanatçı, gördüğü imgeleri kendi deneyimlediği çağrışımlarsonucu fantastik bir gerçekliğe dönüştürürken; ikinci grupta, sanatçı kendi kurguladığı pareidolia ile yapıtta izleyeniçin anlam katmanları sunan bir deneyim hazırlamaktadır. Her iki kullanımının da sanatta yaratıcılığı körükleyen vefarklı ifade biçimleri konusunda yol gösteren bir deneyim olarak değerlendirilebileceği düşünülmektedir.

N2  - Pareidolia, is the fenomenon of perceiving an image as a new image by comparing it to another known form.Pareidolia, besides being a source of inspiration for a test that gives illuminating results in the field ofpsychoanalysis, has also been a method used in art production. Within the scope of the research, the effect ofpareidolia experience in the field of visual arts production has been found since the XIV. century. In context of theexamples reached, the role played by this experience in the construction of a new reality by the artists wasexamined. As a result of examples taken in historical order, it was seen that the effect of pareidolia on artist'sproduction can be evaluated in two classes. One of them is the pareidolia which the artist experiences and shareshis experience with the audience, and the other one is the pareidolia which the artist presents to the audience as afiction. While the artist in the first group transforms the images he sees into a fantastic reality as a result of theconnotations he experienced, the artist in the second group, prepares an experience which offers layers of meaningsfor the audience with the pareidolia which he designs in the work. It is thought that both uses can be considered asan experience that fuels creativity in art and guides in different forms of expression.
