N2  - XIX. century is a period that changes of social, administrative and legal concentrate on the Ottoman Empire. As a result of these revolutions, the police organization was founded in 1845.In 1880’s, with the beginning of organization in provinces it started to create an original security culture different from the past. It was understood that not only the personnel who was trained about military education were enough but also the policeman should be educated except fort he military education in this culture. In 1907, in view of these thoughts the first poliçe school was opened in Selanik. The Police School Of Dersaadet, Beyrut, Adana, Bağdat, Trabzon and Erzurum followed this school. The aim of this research is to find solutions in respect to what kinds of strategies applied by the police schools, what the uducation programmes include related to the topics, and what kinds of education facilities they have.
