In addition to evaluation of ACL in acute knee injuries, arthroscopy has a great importance in the diagnosis of asuciated injuries and also in the planing of the teratment.The treatment can be conservative or surgical in acute ACL injuries. The patients who are in the low risk group, showing a wild degree of instability, with a normal contralateral knee, with al least one normal meniscus, with out an additional injuriy which may cause an increare in the instability are considered for conservative treatment.
