AB  - Between 1987-1989, 69 patients with arthritis of the knee joint were treated surgically, either with arthroscopic debridement or knee replacement. The mean follow-up period was 10 (2-20) months. The Hospital for Special Surgery score gave a mean of 45 points before surgery and 82 points at follow up. There were two failures, one superficial wound infection, and one patellar malalignment necessitated  lateral release.
N2  - 1987-1989'da diz artriti olan 69 hasta cerrahi olarak artroskopik depridman veya diz protezi ile tedavi edildi. Ortalama takip süresi 10 (2-20) aydı. Hospital for Special Surgery değerlendirme skorları uygulandığında, ameliyat öncesi 45 puan olan ortalama değerlerin ameliyat sonrası 82 puana yükseldiği görüldü. Bir hastada yüzeyel yara enfeksiyonu gelişti. Başka bir hastada meydana gelen patellar malalignment Iateral gevşetme ile tedavi edildi. .
