This subject has been quite intenvisely studed and different results have been reported form varius centers. In this paper we present the results of the 34 flexor tendon injuries of the 22 patinets reported in our clinic between the years 1988-1991. The follow-up period was 6 months. In 29 of the 34 flexor tendons telayed primary tenorphy and in 5 of them secondary repair were applied. In the cases operated primarily and in those where dynamic splinting (Chow s model) were applied, the values of total active range of motion were superior to those operated secondarily and to those where 4 weeks if immobilization were applied.}, number={4}, publisher={Turkish Association of Orthopaedics and Traumatology}
