In these patients the average follow-up was 60.5 (24-132) months and mean age was 19.6 (13-23) years. Evaluation of the long term results of lateral and distal transfer of greater trochanter has shown that this procedure relieves pain and increases abduction range but does not prevent osteoarthritis of the hip joint.}, number={1}
