The anesthetic effect began in 4-6 minutes and lasted 90-140 minutes. In the other group of twenty five patients, the same amount of carticaine was used as a combination with 1/200000 epinephrine. In this group, the anesthetic effect began immediately after injection and lasted for 205-240 minutes. No local or systemic side effects were observed during the study period. All 50 axillary blockages were done by the same anesthetic team in the control of the senior staff anesthesiologist. As a result we can show that carticaine effect starts rapidly and lasts long. We recommend it as an alternative local anesthetic in axillary blocks.}, number={1}
