AB  - In this study retrograde flow island flaps which become reliable method recently with a promising future for hand and upper extremity surgery, were reviewed. 24 distally based reverse flow flaps, including 10 retrograde flow neuro-cutaneous island flaps, 5 retrograde flow metacarpal artery island flaps, 5 posterior interosseous artery flaps and 4 retrograde flow homodigital artery flaps for fingertip injuries were applied to hand, wrist and forearm. The analysis of the results showed that their have easy surgical technique in comparison with free flaps, relatively short surgery time and high successful rate, retrograde flow flaps can be choice for soft tissue loss in the near future.
N2  - Bu çalışmada el ve üst ekstremite cerrahisinde uygulanan ve son yıllarda önem kazanmaya başlayan ters akımlı ada flepleri incelendi. El, el bileği ve önkolda, kan dolaşımı ters akımlı olacak şekilde uygulanmış 24 olgunun, 10'u ters akımlı nörokütanöz ada flebi, 5'i lers akımlı metakarpal arter ada flebi, 5'i posterior interossöz arter flebi, 4'ü ise parmak uçlarına uygulanan ters akımlı homodijital arter flebi idi. Değerlendirme sonrası ameliyat tekniğinin serbest fleplere göre daha kolay olması, ameliyat süresinin kısa ve başarı şansı-nın yüksek olması nedeniyle yakın gelecekte doku kayıplarında ters akımlı fleplerin çok daha fazla uygulama alanı bulacağı sonucuna varıldı.
