AB  - The aim is tO examine meniscal tear types in details and to j/nd out the most suitable methods of surgicaltreatment. A Classijıcation system which shows localization of meniscal tears has been built up in order totalk about the various types ofmeniscal tears and to make clinical documentation easy. The principles of resectionwhich is very orthopedie surgeon. The correct approach to the treatment ofmeniscal tears is possiblewith the understanding of the jimetion, biology and the strueture of the meniscus, its repair and the resectionprineiples.
N2  - Amaç, menisküs yırtıklarının daha detaylı incelenmesi ve en uygun cerrahi tedavi yöntemlerinin belirlen-mesidir. Farklı yırtık tipleri hakkında konuşabilmek ve klinik dökümentasyonu kolaylaştırmak amacıyla me-nisküs yırtıklarının yerini belirten bir sınıflama sistemi verilmiştir. Yazıda belirtilen başarılı menisküs rezeksiyonu için çok önemli olan rezeksiyon prensipleri ortopedik cerraha kılavuz olacaktır. Menisküs yırtıklarının tedavisine doğru yaklaşım menisküs fonksiyonunu, biyolojisini, menisküs tamiri ve rezeksiyon prensiplerini anlamakla mümkündür.
