The mixed research method was used in this study. The data were collected via Science Teaching Efficacy Belief Instrument and through semi-structured interviews. According to the results of this research, it was found that the level of science teaching self-efficacy beliefs of teacher candidates were upper-intermediate. Also, it was found that no meaningful difference in the teacher candidates’ self-efficacy beliefs according to the gender and the type of high school.}, number={1}, publisher={E-Journal of New World Sciences Academy}
