AP and AT mines might have differences both in shape and dimension and also can be manufactured in the forms of various cases or covers of metallic, wooden or plastic materials. The expected depth of mine, the date of burying and the type of the mine affects the technology used for identifying mines. Various methods had already been used for the identification of mine such as acoustic and seismic, Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) detection, Electromagnetic Induction Spectroscopy, Infrared (IR) Imaging, Thermal Detection, Optical detection, Nuclear Quadrupole Resonance, Statistical Analysis (Algorithms) of land mines. In this work, first of all it is aimed to survey the studies on mine identification up to now and second the method developed that is so called detection by magnetic anomaly which is apart from the already available methods is given and supported by the experiments.}, number={2}
