N2  - Using the correct pedal in piano training carries great importance in terms of how powerful the music is expressed. Any piece played on the piano can be enriched and hence interpreted more effectively in terms of its liveliness and tone only by making use of the pedals.  In this study, which is of the nature to be a literature scanning, the importance of pedal use in piano training, its development in history, roles played by the right, left and middle pedals, opinions with regard to starting to use the pedals, recommendations on the subject as well as the conclusions reached in this investigative study have been included.
