In high speed engines, the main bearings are generally work under different effects and severe conditions. It will probably run in these conditions, Pb-Sn-Cu-ZrO alloy has covered the working surface of steel bearing by using powder spray method. The wear properties of the bearing were determined under real engine conditions. The samples were fixed to engine with the original opel engine bearings and the engine was run during 500 hours. The crank shaft spindle speed, the bearing loads, oil temperature and oil pressure were constanted to explore their effects on wear resistant. At the end of the experiments, the bearings were pulled up and theirs weighness differences were measured. The SEM photos were taken for both working surfaces of bearings. EDS and microhardness analysis were conducted to the study. According to the experimental results, it is obseved that the new type of bearing material has showed higher wear resistant.}, number={2}
