C25 type concrete mixture prepared for this study was purred in three separate formworks with different surface properties. Using three different formworks constructed with yellow pine, plywood, and permeable liner, each with different water suction capacities, concrete blocks with various cover densities were formed. The concrete blocks were kept inside formwork for 28 day and cured with water daily. After the formworks were removed 18 core samples were taken from the blocks. Concrete cover samples were prepared from 9 core samples by cutting upper 5 cm part of the cores. Compressive strength tests were applied to the other 9 samples. Density, porosity, and pulse velocity tests were applied to cover samples. Using the test results, a fuzzy logic model was developed to predict compressive strength of concrete. Density, porosity, and pulse velocity measurements were used as inputs to the model and the model was configured to produce compressive strength. As the results of this study, a fuzzy logic based prediction model which can predict compressive strength of concrete blocks with different physical properties up to 2,8 % error rate was developed. It has been observed that it is possible to predict compressive strength of concrete using fuzzy based prediction models which was formed using cover properties of concrete.
