N2  - Code No. 67621 have radically amended by the Turkish Commercial Code No. 6102. In this regard, important new rules on liability insurances have been introduced. Insufficiencies of liability insurance provisions of the 6762 Code had resulted in doubts in both in practice and doctrine. For this reason, general provisions on liability insurances (ss. 1473-1482 of the 6102 Code) and special provisions on compulsory liability (ssç 14831484) have been regulated in a special chapter of in the 6102 Code. In this study, the new rules on liability insurance introduced by the 6102 Code that have not necessarily analysed in doctrine are analysed. It is expected that this study shall lead both the doctrine and the liability insurance practices
