It is a screening model research. The sample of the research consists of 476 teachers who work in Kayseri city center. “Job Satisfaction Scale” which was developed by Şahin (2009) and “Personal Information Form” which was developed by the researcher were used in data collection. The data were analyzed in SPSS 16.0 package program. In the analysis of the data, firstly frequency and percentage distribution which describe the participants’ demographic features (gender, marital status, seniority and age) were obtained, then ss rate for the scale’s sub-dimension points were assigned. T-test for independent groups was used to determine whether the teachers’ job satisfaction points differ according to marital status and gender variables and One-Way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) was used in order to determine whether it differs according to age and seniority variables. In the study, teachers’ job satisfaction levels were found “partly satisfied”. According to the findings of the study, in job satisfaction scale sub-dimensions, teachers’ gender and marital status variables were found statistically significant however in terms of age and seniority variables statistically significant difference was not found}, number={7}, publisher={İdeal Kent Yayınları}
