N2  - A generally accepted view is that it is of particular importance for university graduates aiming to work at the accounting section of companies at the sector to take particullar courses on or rolated to accounting. It is therefore necessary to identify which accounting course and content of such course is of particular importance for companies willing to employ graduate in their accounting sections. In this study, we report the results of the empirical study that was undertaken to explore the demand of the large Turkish companies (in terms of accounting courses taken and the extent of such courses) from the university graduates that apply for their accounting sections.
