Unlike other branches of science there has not been a detailed review on the concept of knowledge in economics. It has been adopted that no effects of knowledge on the economic processes with assumption of perfect information. However, perspectives on the concept of knowledge has changed with the constraints of the assumptions that lack of explaining problems and bringing the solutions. From this point, studies examining the concept of knowledge in the economics literature is important. In this study, studies in the economics literature on the concept of knowledge and periods are examined, and the relationship between these periods are discussed
