Etiopathogenesis is not known, but it is suspected to be immune-related. There are acute - subacute, sclerosing and granulomatous forms. Its sclerosing form occurs insidiously and progressive inflammation and scarring causes orbital dysfunction. Dermoid cysts, primary and metastatic tumors like orbital lymphoma, sarcoidosis, and Wegener granulomatosis should be thought in differential diagnosis. Although the treatment is not definitive, steroids, immunosuppressive therapy, and surgical excision are recommended. 18 year old patient with a mass in the right upper eyelid was presented. A rare histopathological diagnosis was revealed as chronic sclerosing dacryodenitis, a type of orbital pseudotumor.
