N2  - Anasır-ı erbaa theory that has been inherited to the Islamic philosophy from ancientGreek have been used by almost all Muslim philosophiers in their philosophy. In thesame way XVIII. century Ottoman scholar Erzurumlu İbrahim Hakkı, gives place thefour elements theory in his encyclopedical work Marifetname while explaning theexistence of the universe. İbrahim Hakkı accepts peripatetic philosophers philosophicalmodel about the emergence of the universe, especially Avicennas model. According tohim the universe that emerged from God through the emanation is divided into tworealms: celestial world and sublunary world. While ten intelligences and havenly bodiesare supreme beings, the elements formed from fire, air, water and earth are lowersublunary beings. Four elements are the substratum of creatures at world. Of theseelements emerged in turn mines, plants, animals and humans with the impact of celestialworld.
