N2  - Reading Comprehension forms the base of learning in schools. In recent years, scientific research which has been carried out to understand what is read showes that there are some techniques which can be thought and which can help to understand what is read easily. One of these techniques is, forming the knowledge maps of the reading materials and studying on the knowledge maps of them. In this article, the benefits of knowledge maps on understanding a reading material and how they can be organized are emphasized.
