N2  - Meme küçültme ameliyatları, rekonstrüktif ve estetik cerrahi ameliyatları arasında en sık uygulananlardandır. Bu ameliyatlarda en önemli amaç ağırlık ve hacmi azaltırken, estetik görünümü ve fonksiyonel işlevi korumaktır. Postoperatif uzun dönem sonuçlarının en iyi şekilde olabilmesi için birçok farklı teknik geliştirilmiştir. Çalışmada “Wise patern” cilt eksizyonu planlanmış meme küçültme hastalarında inferior pedikül ve süperomedial pedikül teknikleri ile bilateral redüksiyon mammoplasti uygulanan ardışık 50 hastada, meme üst pol dolgunlukları ve “bottoming-out” deformitesi gelişip gelişmemesi karşılaştırılmıştır. Süperomedial pedikül uygulanan grupta olguların tümünde üst polde dolgunluk saptanırken, inferior pedikül uygulanan grupta %31,6 oranında üst pol dolgunluğu saptanmıştır.
