As a result of necropsy, the tissue samples of the lamb were analysed parasitologically, histopathologically and immunohistochemically, and it was determined that the lamb had died of acute hepatitis cysticercosa. Besides, in this specific case immunohistochemical analysis of S 100 and INOS immunoreactivity was performed. While in histopathological examination, severe necrotic hemorrhagic hepatitis was observed, in immunohistochemical inspection, particularly in parts where inflammation was severe, S 100 protein expression was seen in neutrophil leukocytes, and INOS expression was detected in macrophages. Though Cysticercustenuicollis is seen widely throughout the world, recordings concerning acute hepatitis cysticercosa and related deaths are few. Emphasizing that acute hepatitis cysticercosa can be very pathogenic on new born lambs and mustn’t be overlooked by clinicians, we believe that it would be appropriate to present this case study CR - MULTIPLE LINE CITATIONS UR - https://dergipark.org.tr/tr/pub/vanvetj/issue//251011 L1 - https://dergipark.org.tr/tr/download/article-file/217568 ER -
