N2  - This study has been carried out to establish how classical guitar training is made in the institutions providing classical guitar training, to determine the problems confronted and give suggestions for solution. With this purpose the background literature were examined and a questionnaire including totally 13 questions, one of which was an open-ended and the other 12 were multiple choice questions was employed to 55 trainers of classical guitar in 50 institutions providing music teaching from 16 cities in six geographical regions. The results obtained from the questionnaire were statistically shown as the tables reflecting frequency (f) and percentage (%) distribution and commented and the distribution of percentage was evaluated by using graphics as slice of a cake. Being an open-ended question, the 13th question of the questionnaire has been evaluated by making content analysis. As a result of the evaluation, it was found out that the institutions providing amateur music training should gather in order to supervise themselves based on a common structure instead of commercial purposes, and employ qualified trainers in amateur music teaching
