N2  - Beginning with the 1917 October revolution, The Soviet Russia period is the most complex and hardest process of the twentieth century Russian history. In this period, because of the system, many people both guilty and innocent have been punished in various ways. The famous writer, A.Soljenitsın, is among those who had been punished. Having won the Nobel Prize in literature ( 1970 ) the writer has tried to convey the hard years that he had experienced in his works with quotations and figures from his real life. His works are filled with different destinies from the camps in which he had spent ten years of his life. We can conclude that those novel characters of "First Circle", "Cancer Ward", “One Day In The Life Of Ivan Denisovich”, “Matryona's Place”, “For the Good Of The Cause” which are written by the author in Russia have these features
