Descriptive method was used in the study. F Test and t-test were employed to analyze the data. It was hypothesized in the study that teacher candidates’ perception of difficulty and support in the Faculty of Education has impact on their social capital levels. Their perception of difficulty includes the structural domain which is based on the remembrance and the interpretation of new concepts and terms and the functional domain which requires more complicated processes as the analysis or application of information. On the other hand, support domain is about the thoughts of teacher candidates relating to their relationship with professors and the other students and to the positive effect they get from the Faculty. The findings have indicated that perception of difficulty invokes cooperation between the teacher candidates; also perception of support obtained from the relationship between students and professors and from the positive effect of the Faculty of Education provides social capital cumulation by making the teacher candidates participate in trust-based relationships. Suggestions are also available in the study for other variables causing meaningful differences between the social capital levels of teacher candidates.
