Bir gaz odasına hapsedilmiş gazmoleküllerinden inelastic olarak saçılmış g-ışınları Tennelec244 Yükseltici ve MAESTRO MCA Programına bağlanmış bir HPGe dedektörkullanılarak ölçüldü. Ölçümlerden önce gaz basıncı bir manometre ile ayarlandı.Veriler, bütün çevresel saçılma etkileri için, gaz odasının duvarlarından,kolimatörlerden, vs., saçılmalar gibi, düzeltildi.  Daha sonra, beş farklı basınçta azot gazınınCompton Profileleri Matlab’de yazılmış bir program ile belirlendi.
