N2  - This study is a eld research on the village imams belong to Kayseri Pınarbaşı Branch of the Presidency of Religious Affairs. It was determined in which elds prob- lems and intensi ed that village imams, performing their religion service task, enco- untered during their occupation life and variables which. It was determined problems of the village imams caused by physical and sociocultural structures of the village.On the basis of sociological criteria the signi cant nding sobtained on these matters were described and evaluated. In the addition, the problems and expactations were also observed in respect to the location of occupation such as rural (village) areas.
