concerning the social and religious affairs in XVII. Century. The competition
which occurred between the Qadi Zadah Mehmed Efendi and th~ people of
Khalwati circles which was known the mavement of the Qadizadilite is quite  significant. This mavement began primarely on the bıisis of religious thingking
·and then it paid attention to the political aspects too. In this struggle various
religious issues came to core. One of the most important issues y.ıas the
religious status of the Prophet Muhammed’s (Peace be upon him) parents. In
centrast to Qadizadilites, the mentar of Khalwatiyya, Abu ai-Ahad Nuri, held that
the Prophet’s mather and father attain the salvation. This article deals with Abd
ai-Ahad’s view about the Prophet’s parents’ salvation. The prim""’e focus will be
