N2  - The Persian Language had a great effect on the literature created by Turks afterthey accepted Islam. Turkish poets have been affected by Persian poets for centuriesand they have transferred many words to our language.In our article, we gave place to the views of Sulayman Nazif on this issue. Ourarticle is composed of two parts. In the first part, a general evaulation was made.In the second part, Sulayman Nazif’s writings entitled “The Effect of PersianLiterature on Our Literature” written in the Otoman Turkish Language was given in theNew Turkish Language
