N2  - In this study , (1-benzofurane-2-yl)-3-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)proph-2-1-one was synthesized from the reaction of (1-benzofurane-2-yl) and vaniline. The (1-benzofurane2-yl)-3-oxo-prop-1-en-1-yl]-2-methoxyphenyl synthesized from the acylation reaction of this compound with methacryloyl chloride that commercially purchased. Free radicalic polymerization method were used for preparation of homopolymer. FT-IR, structure characterization of polymer. The thermal behaviors of polymer were relatively investigated by DSC and TGA, and the results were compared with each other. The average molecular weights and polydispersities were measured by GPC technique. The dielectric behaviors of polymers were investigated as a function of temperature and frequency. The results obtained were associated with their the structures
