N2 - Camelina (Camelina sativa (L.) Crantz) is an annual plant and an oilseed belonging to the family Brassicaceae (Syn.Cruciferae) which can be cultivated in summer and winter in our country conditions. In this study which has been carried out on the possibilities of Camelina being cultivated as a winter season plant within Kahta/Adıyaman conditions that have semi-arid climate features of the plant, camelina seeds were sown in mid-November depending on rainfall and successful germination were observed. In trials that were made between 2013-2014 and 2014-2015 growing season for two years, the plant height (69.81 cm), number of branch (9.81 number/plant), number of capsule (254.63 number/plant), number seed of capsule (8.31 number/capsule), 1000 seed weight (1.33 g), seed yield (127.73 kg/da), oil content (32.39 %) and oil yield (41.25 kg/da) were determined. As a result, it has been found out that plant yield vary depending on the efficiency of the climate, and it can be made in agriculture in winter without irrigation in Adıyaman/Kahta conditions.
