Patients’ heights and weights were recorded within the questionnaires prepared in order to measure their height and weight awareness together with their physical exercise status. Patients’ declarations about their heights and lengths were compared by the physicians’ measurements. If a difference was present, it was questioned whether this difference was affected by age, gender and level of education. They were also questioned about their last measurement of height and weight, about their satisfaction of their weights, about their sportive interests, the frequency and type of their sporting activities. </pre> <pre> <strong> <br /> </strong> </pre> <pre> <strong>Results: </strong>A total of <strong> </strong>187 people, 44.40 % being woman and 55.60 % being man, were included in our study. According to the body mass indices calculated according to their estimations, 4.30% were underweight, 45.70 % normal, 34.90% were overweight and 15.10% were obese. </pre> <pre>According to the body mass indices calculated as to the actual measurements; 3.20%, 46.50%, 35.30% and 15.00 were respectively underweight, normal, overweight and obese. They estimate of our patients height and body mass index calculated according to the weight considering the weak, the normal weight of overweight, obesity was found in According to our height and weight measurements. Body mass index, which is calculated at the end were 3.20 % weak, 46.50 % normal weight, 35.30 % overweight, and 15.00 % were found to be obese. The rate of those who were doing regular sports was 29.40 %. Height, weight and body mass index measurements showed no significant difference before and after. </pre> <pre> <strong> <br /> </strong> </pre> <pre> <strong>Conclusions: </strong>The majority of our patients knew their height and weight accurately and this shows a high awareness. Regular sport activities cannot yet reach the desired level, and our people should be educated about it.
