N2  - In this article, the historical process and sociological structure of the Syrian people is dealt with. Syrians have lived in a chaotic region through-out centuries. As a result, they have been greatly affected by different par-adigms in the respect of religion, politics, and ideology. This negative im-pact has become the reason of misidentification and misnaming of Syrians from historical and theological perspective.However, with recent academic and objective studies in which Syrian lead-ers got opportunities of explai-ning themselves has started a new process for getting accurate knowledge about history of Syrians and their theolog-ical doctrines. Also, this article aims to be a sample of such kind of studies.
