The Ethiopian Church, which is come from the Coptic Orthodox tradition, had accepted Monophysite doctrine. Egypt Coptic Church appointed the ruling patriarch, Abuna, until the independ-ence of Ethiopia in 1959. Since that year, as a independent church, Ethi-opian Church has made its own appointments to the Patriarch. The Ethio-pian Church has its own priests and monks, the Bible tradition. Beside that, the church performs the customs of Falashas as Jewish community, like the Sabbath and Circumcision.
