N2  - With the beginning of occultation period, two major schools of thought has emerged as Akhbâriyya and theother Usuliyya in the Shi’i-Imamiyyah. Shaikh Mufid has an important role in the shaping of Usûli thought’main lines. However, the process of the system’s formation is also important itself as well as importance of whocontributed to an emerged school of thought. This article has emphasized what can be affective to the rising ofUsûli thought moving from some clues, by focusing on the main problems experienced by the followers ofHasan al-Askari after the death of him. Moreover, it has tried to present in what points Akhbâri thought differsfrom Usûli thought, by addressing Imamiyyah scholars’ approaches in solving of problems faced during theoccultation period.
