Written by Grimm Brothersin 1812, Snow White has been illustrated and used as an art subject manytimes by various artists and illustrators just as other fairy tales. Throughthe development and growth of movie industry, especially in USA, WaltDisney has created “an image unity” on people minds globally by adaptingpopular nursery tales, stories and mythological legends into movie screenas cartoons. This paper deciphers and focuses, “Snow White and Her Stepmother,”the third piece of “Snow White” variation painted by a Portugueseartist Paula Rego who inspired artworks from conceptual subjectsthat were never been on original nursery.
