The events, was told in the story, which is about a guy who was a convict due to the murder in the Çankırı Jail. Kelleci Mehmet was mentioned one section of the poem that was the Çankırı Mahpushanesinden Mektuplar 1 (The Letters from the Çankırı Prison 1) by Nazım Hikmet who was a convict because of the same crime. One section of the Cezaevi Notları (The Prison Notes), which was published after Kemal Tahir’s death, was consist of the notes were about prisoners’ life who were served time in the Çankırı Lockup, the life experiences, the life stories, the conversations and the subjects that were important for them. The notes includes significant informations in the sense of Kelleci Mehmet who was a captive. Furthermore, Kelleci Mehmet was referred to in a book which is by the name of Mahpushaneden Kemal Tahir’e Mektuplar (The Letters From The Prison to Kemal Tahir) that was one of the Nazım Hikmet’s Books. This article reviews Kelleci Mehmet’s situation in different narratives as a felon that has been discussed in two literary works of the important names of the Turkish Literary.
